Spinners & Carousels

A persons sense of their body in space is developed by spinning, swinging, twirling, and rolling. Vestibular movement is considered critical to brain development so children feel confident and safe during movement activities, even if their feet are off the ground. Spinners & Carousels are a wonderful addition to playgrounds for this reason as well as being lots of fun and fostering inclusivity when matched with unitary surfacing and universal access pathways.
